Commercial & Affiliate Operations Director – Executive CommitteeRodrigo is the Comercial Director for Europe & Middle East of asistensi, a Madrid-based insurtech, with operations in Latin America and South East Asia. It offers accessible health plans to the families of migrants who reside in Europe, the United States and the Middle East that include health services and insurance coverage to protect them against day-to-day ailments, common illnesses, and medical emergencies.
Before joining asistensi, Rodrigo was the Growth Director of Goiko, the fastest growing gourmet burger restaurant chain in Spain, supported by private equity L Catterton, with more than 90 restaurants across the country and presence in France. At Goiko Rodrigo led transformation projects such as the launch of the loyalty program that obtained 200,000 registrations in just 3 days and the launch of the Goiko product line in retail generating more than 1m€ of revenues within the first year.
Previously, Rodrigo was the Sales & Customer Director of Goiko where he was responsible for the pricing strategy across all channels and the entire digital acquisition strategy of customers. He also led the implementation of Salesforce CRM and the Customer Service Team.
Earlier on, Rodrigo worked 9 years in Vodafone Spain, within the commercial & marketing areas. As a Senior Key Account Manager, he was responsible for generating growth in exclusive and non-exclusive Vodafone distributors, notably leading the relationship with The Phone House, the main Vodafone distributor where more than 15,000 subscriptions were made per month. In the marketing area Rodrigo led the acquisition commercial offer and the product and pricing strategy for Spain.
Rodrigo has a Specialized Master in Marketing from EADA, Barcelona, and graduated in Production Engineering from Universidad Metropolitana (VENEZUELA).
