Carlos is CFO of asistensi, a Madrid-based insurtech, with operations in Latin America and South East Asia. It offers accessible health plans to the families of migrants who reside in Europe, the United States and the Middle East that include health services and insurance coverage to protect them against day-to-day ailments, common illnesses, and medical emergencies.

Prior to this, Carlos was Head of Accounting and Tax for Spain and LatAm for Caceis Bank Spain, the JV between Banco Santander and Credit Agricole, a bank with total assets of €9bn and €677bn under custody in Spain

Executive Vice President in Santander Group where he was Global Head of Finance and Strategy for Insurance, Private Banking, and Asset Management, businesses with c. €370bn in AUM and c. €2,400mm of net contribution across more than 10 countries.

Previously, Carlos was Strategy Manager in Banco Santander for Insurance, Private Banking, and Asset Management, businesses with c. €370bn in AUM and c. €2,400mm of net contribution across more than 10 countries.

Earlier on, Carlos served as Global Head of Management Information in Santander Asset Management, based in London, responsible for global management information, including the coordination of the regulated local asset management companies in 11 countries and €180bn of assets under management.

Before this, Carlos was Audit Manager in Deloitte in Madrid, auditing regulated companies in the Investment Management, Brokerage and Global Custody Practice, which included Tier 1 Banks, asset management companies and pensions funds. Also, involved in multiple due diligence processes and regulatory consulting services to top players in Spain and Europe.

Carlos has a Bachelor in Business and Administration from Universidad San Pablo CEU, Madrid.
