María is Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO) of asistensi, a Madrid-based insurtech, with operations in Latin America and South East Asia. It offers accessible health plans to the families of migrants who reside in Europe, the United States and the Middle East that include health services and insurance coverage to protect them against day-to-day ailments, common illnesses, and medical emergencies.

María's vision and professional experience have led her to occupy key leadership positions in different companies throughout the world, such as General Manager at Uber, Head of Product at AlphaCredit, General Director at Dibaq Group in Mexico; Strategic Procurement Manager and Supply Chain Manager at Airbus in Spain and in France, to mention just a few.

In addition, she has carried out several technological entrepreneurship projects, and she participated in different non-profit activities under the "MBAs Without Borders" program in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, such as Business Consulting for local SMEs, training of entrepreneurs, advice to Guinean businesswomen and entrepreneurs, and development of a microfinance project for women.

She has a Telecommunications Engineering master’s degree from the Carlos III University of Madrid with the highest honors, as well as an MBA from the IE Business School with honors. María is fluent in English and French and has knowledge of German and Italian.
