Andoni is Country Director in Venezuela at asistensi, a Madrid-based insurtech, with operations in Latin America and South East Asia. It offers accessible health plans to the families of migrants who reside in Europe, the United States, and the Middle East that include health services and insurance coverage to protect them against day-to-day ailments, common illnesses, and medical emergencies.

Prior to this, Andoni was Director of International Business Development in Fira Barcelona, a leading European company in the industry of venue management and professional events where he led and deployed the international strategy and was in charge of the consulting projects across more than 15 countries in Latin America, Africa, Middle East, and Asia.

Also in Fira Barcelona, Andoni acted as General Manager in its joint venture company in China, Greenland Fira, and was part of the board of Fira Qatar. Previously he was Head of Marketing in Fira Qatar and started his journey as a project manager.

Earlier on, Andoni was a consultant in KLB Group (now 7experts) where he managed processes and costs optimization projects for clients in the telecommunication, packaging, and logistics industries.

Andoni started his career as Project and Business Development Manager in the logistics business unit at Grupo Alcarin, a 3PL integrated operator being responsible for the expansion and implementation of new operations in Venezuela supporting the supply chain of main mass consumption companies in the country.

In addition, Andoni is a co-founder of Poke Si, the number one poke bowl chain in Barcelona, Spain.

Andoni holds an MBA from EADA Business School (Barcelona) and graduated in Production Engineering from Universidad Metropolitana (Venezuela).
